Music Video Contest

Help us show that “Libraries Rock!” by creating a music video and entering it in our Teen Music Video Contest! You can submit a link to your video via email to Please use YouTube or Vimeo for the link you submit. Videos cannot be longer than 2 minutes. Any videos submitted with language or content that goes against Lane Libraries’ code of conduct policy will not be considered for contest entry. Videos must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on August 1. The content of the video must be relevant to the theme: “Libraries Rock!” Videos will be judged by a panel of Lane Libraries staff members on the basis of creativity, presentation, and relation to the “Libraries Rock!” theme. First, second, and third place winners will be chosen and featured on our website and will also receive Amazon gift cards (1st place: $75, 2nd place: $50, and 3rd place: $25). Winners will be announced on August 10. You can set up an appointment at the Fairfield or Oxford Lane Libraries or at the Lane Community Technology Center to use Lane’s production equipment. These appointments will be limited and can be made over the phone.
