The Lane Bookmobile is making stops throughout the community. Visit the Lane calendar for a list of current Bookmobile stops.

Important information to understand before visiting the Lane Libraries during this time:

  • There are occupancy limits in certain areas of some buildings due to space constraints. If the area is congested, patrons will be asked to conduct their business as quickly as possible to make space for others.
  • Masks are encouraged. Masks will be available if you do not have one.
  • While there are no time limits for library visits, usage of public computers will be limited to two hours per day.
  • Magazines and newspapers are now available for browsing.

For the safety of our community, there will be limited programming and use of meeting spaces inside the buildings at this time. This summer, we will offer outdoor programming, take-home craft projects, virtual programs and story times. View the calendar of events here.

Lane’s annual Summer Reading Adventure is happening June 1 – August 1 for all ages. Sign up to participate here.

You also have access to countless eBooksaudiobookssongsvideos, and magazines through our website. If you aren’t able to find your library card or don’t currently have one, you can register for a library card here.

Also, for those of you who have children under the age of 5, you can now sign up to take part in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! This service mails one book a month to every enrolled child from birth until their fifth birthday. Thanks to the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library, Butler County United Way, and other local donors who have made this possible for the children of Butler County. Visit to get started.
