Lane Libraries Art Contest

Are you a painter? Knitter? Jewelry designer? We want to see your talent! Submit a work of art in any medium to the Lane Libraries’ Art Contest. Submissions will be displayed for the community to see and vote for their favorites.

Age categories: Age 7 – 11, 12 – 18, 18 – up

Submission types: All media

Submission dates: Submit a Google entry form January 2 – 28. Bring artwork to your Lane Library location (Hamilton, Fairfield, or Oxford) January 29 – February 4.

How to submit: Fill out a submission form January 2 – 28 to enter. (You will receive a “thank you” email within 48 hours of submitting your work. If you do not receive this email, please double check that you sent your submission to the correct email address. If you have any questions or concerns please direct them to Celeste Swanson at c.swanson@lanepl.org.)

Submission Guidelines: Artwork must be appropriate for all ages to view and the library’s Code of Conduct must be followed.

Voting will take place by the public February 9 – 11.

Winners will be announced on February 17.

Prizes of gift cards will be awarded to winners in each age category.

Opening Night Gala
February 9, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
We will kick off the voting with an opening night art gala accompanied by music and refreshments at each Lane location!
