How it works:
- Register for a Beanstack account at lanepl.beanstack.org.
- Choose your Summer Reading Adventure from the list of available challenges.
- Participate in the challenge by keeping track of your reading, completing activities, and reading books from our “Recommended Reads” book lists.
Children and Teens
Earn 20 points for every 20 minutes of reading you complete.
200 points = Select a book or item from the treasure chest
400 points = Select a book or item from the treasure chest
Adults
Earn 100 points for every book you read.
200 points = Choose a small prize at the library
400 points = Choose a small prize at the library
New this year! Every 100 points you earn after 400 will give you a ticket for our drawing. We have a variety of items to choose from and you will be able to put your tickets towards the specific prizes you are interested in winning. We will be announcing the first round of winners at the end of June and the second round of winners during the first week of August. For a list of available prizes, log in to the Summer Reading Challenge in Beanstack and click on “Ticket Drawings”. (Please note that the ticketed prize items are limited so not everyone will be a guaranteed winner.)
