Review: Tuesdays
with Maury is about a boy name Mitch who at one point is inseperable
from his professor Maury. When Mitch graduates he gives Maury a present
and promises to keep in touch. After setting off in the real world and
dealing with a fast paced job of a sports reporter this is a promise Mitch
fails to keep. One day while watching the news Mitch sees his old professor
who changed his life in too many ways to count and is not done yet. he
learns Maury has a deathly disease which there is no cure. After some
debating he sets off to see him. And the result is for you to find out. |

Anyone who
luvs a good fantasy/adventure book will greatly appreciate this wonderful
book. The main character, Frodo (the hobbit), goes on a perilous journey
to destroy an evil ring, forged by the dark lord Sauron. Of course he
is accompanied by a ranger, a dwarf, an elf, a human, a wizard, and several
of his other hobbit friends. Together, they fight against Sauron's forces,
while trying to resist the evil influence and power of the ring. The movie
is great, but the book is even better, because you get to know the characters
better, and its more in depth. |

If you have
followed Harry, Ron, and Hermione through their first four years of school,
then follow them through this one. Every page is filled with suspense
until the very end. The new teacher is worse than Snape (if that's possible).
But the ending will kill you if the rest of the book doesn't first. I
had about three heart attacks during the first 5 chapters alone. |

The latest
installment in the Harry Potter series is probabaly the best book you
will ever pick up. Harry and his friends get themselves in even more danger.
Voldermort is an even bigger threat then ever but something is in the
way of saving the wizarding world. Also, Ron decides to play quidditch
and Harry and the Weasley twins decide they want to beat up someone and
get thrown off. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is the worst
of the worst. She even out ranks Severus Snape himself. |

This book
is great! It would be appealing to people interested in Science Fiction
books. Be warned: If you want to do this book for a review it is very
hard to explain! I'll do my best. Sabriel lives in Wyverly College. She's
always looked forward to her father's visits but this time, he doesn't
come. Now she must go rescue him. But he's in death, trapped there. So
first she has to learn to work the bells of a neromancer. A neromancer
is a person, with the aid of some spelled bells, can bring spirits back
to life, and enslave them in dead bodies. But while normal neromancers
bring the dead to life, the Abhorson puts them back to death. Sabriel
is the Abhorson-in-waiting. Only with the help of a man named Touchstone
and the Abhorson's helper, a cat named Mogget, can she bring her father
to life again and stop an evil that will destroy everything in it's path
if not stopped. And while I'm explaining this you must remember it is
a very hard book to explain! But it is a great book and I really recommend
it! |

sixteen-year-old slave girl named Claidi escapes with a handsome prince
into the wastelands. A very funny, deep, sometimes dark story, but always
great to read. This story's reading level is good for all ages. This book
got me to read more since there are a third and a fourth book coming to
the series. A very great read, anytime. Go get The Claidi Journals/Wolf
Tower today. Thumbs UP! |
