Pick up a clue packet in the Children's Department and solve a series
of puzzling mysteries. The clues lead you on an exciting search around
the library, surfing on the library's Web site and even challenging your
math and language arts skills. Solve all the clues, record your answers
and return the packet to a librarian in the Children's Department for
a prize.

Hamilton Police Officer Bob Gentry presents traffic safety, gun safety,
how the police keep us safe and how we can help the police. Children
will also meet his horse, Sydney, who is part of the Hamilton Police

Ages 3 - 9
Linda Church, Butler County Community Counseling Center, will talk to
children and parents in a 2-part program. Parents will have an opportunity
to learn how to open dialog with their children about stranger danger
and how children can keep their bodies safe and private while the children
are in a special story time. Together, parents and children will view
a film and meet with Linda Church.
