Children
ages 6 - 12 are invited to take part in Double the Power:
A Vocabulary Boost at the Fairfield Lane Library any time
they visit the library. Enjoy learning synonyms as a means
to develop expressive power. Children will use dictionaries,
thesauri and other resources to determine a given word's synonym.

The
Lane Libraries now offers a new database for children called
TumbleBook Library. It is an online collection of animated,
talking picture books, puzzles and games, which teach young
children the joys of reading a format that they'll love.
