Summer Programs for all ages at the Lane!

The Summer Fast Lane newsletter and events calendar gives you information about what's happening at the Lane and programs for adults during June, July and August. Find out about Reading & All That Jazz book reviews, book discussion groups, knitting programs, music programs and more!

Check out summer reading for kids to learn about the summer reading challenge and programs for children ages 12 - under. Or visit the teen page to see what the Lane has to offer this summer for teens ages 13 - 18.

All Lane programs are free. Pick up a Fast Lane, children's or teen summer calendar at any Lane Library.


Hamilton Lane Library Drive-Thru Reopened

Effective May 14, the Hamilton Lane Library Drive-thru is now reopened. "Drive-thru - Hamilton" is now an available option as a pickup location in the catalog. If you'd like to arrange to pick items up at the Drive-thru, call Information Services at 894-7158.

The bookdrops at Hamilton's Drive-thru will continue to be closed until further notice. During this time, a temporary bookdrop is located on the north side of the building on Linden Street, across from the library parking lot. Thank you for your patience during this time of change.


Jim Blount Local History Resources

Jim Blount, Butler County historianWe are pleased to announce the availability of 2 new local history resources provided by noted local historian Jim Blount: an Index of Butler County Place Names and an index of Mr. Blount's Journal-News columns since 1988. Check out Lane's History and Genealogy page for these and other resources of interest to researchers, genealogists and students.
