Lane's Reviewers of Literature for Young People Lane's Reviewers of Literature for Young People is a review group comprised of Media Specialists and English teachers that meet bi-monthly to review all types of school library books such as elementary and young-adult literature and non-fiction works. The books reviewed are donated from numerous publishers to this group. Members are required to complete a review form for the books that they receive. The reviewed books can be donated to your school library or used in your classroom. Reviewers receive approximately $500 worth of free high quality books. During the 2006 - 2007 schools the group will meet in October, January, April and June. Two groups of reviewers have been created. A group of middle and high school staff members will meet from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. A second group composed of elementary media specialists and elementary school teachers will meet from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. For further information on this group or if you are interested in becoming a member contact Gratia Banta at g.banta@lanepl.org or call 513-894-7156 x 604.
