Introduction:
This history of Champion Papers in Hamilton was compiled and written in 1992 and 1993 by Jim Blount in preparation for the 1994 observance of the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Hamilton mill. It was the first edited draft that, after rewriting, was the basis for a publication titled Champion: 100 Years of Papermaking in Hamilton, Ohio, published by the Champion International Corp. in 1994.
