& Truths About Coyotes

In recent years, coyotes have spread across the county and now make homes
in the countryside, but also in cities and suburbs, giving people questions
and concerns about this new, furry neighbor. Join Carol Cartaino, author
of Myths & Truths About Coyotes, who will debunk the myths,
share the truths and provide interesting facts about coyotes. Book sale
and signing will follow presentation.

Titanic
and the End of the Edwardian Era

Mandy Altimus Pond is the Archivist for the Massillon Museum, located
in Massillon, Ohio. She will discuss the Titanic from concept to completion,
the social climate before and after the sinking of the Titanic and the
passengers aboard. She will explain the early 1900s and why Titanic was
so significant, as its sinking marked the end of the Edwardian Era.
